Overview

A personal portfolio for presenting projects and making it easy to get in touch. It is built as a set of reusable, typed components on the Next.js App Router, with content kept in local data files so pages stay simple.

Goals

  • Present projects clearly, with room for in-depth case studies
  • Work well from a 375px phone up to a wide desktop
  • Be usable with a keyboard and assistive technology
  • Keep content separate from presentation

Technical decisions

  • Server Components by default; Client Components only for interaction
  • Pages are prerendered statically, including each project page
  • Project filters and search are stored in the URL so results can be shared
  • Design tokens live in one place and are exposed as Tailwind utilities

Accessibility

  • Semantic landmarks, a skip link, and visible focus styles
  • Mobile menu traps focus, closes on Escape, and restores focus
  • Animations respect the reduced-motion preference
